We are part of Lakewood Ranch Lakewood Ranch, an award-winning planned community that is being carved out of the Schroeder-Manatee Ranch. We have over 3,000 beautiful homes, scores of beautiful lakes, and several parks and over an extensive trail system linking them.

We are also an educational center, with two colleges, a technical center, both a public and private high school, a middle school (and another one on the way) and two elementary schools.

Business, too, plays a big part in our family-oriented community. We have corporate headquarters, bustling business parks, shopping centers and restaurants and more are moving in all the time.

Recreation is here in abundance, too, with gorgeous lakes, a fabulous trail system, two golf courses (one part of a private country club, the other public), a polo club and an athletic, tennis and fitness center.

We are also a group of joiners, with over 60 clubs and organizations, including two Rotary clubs.

Lakewood Ranch is a great place to live, work, play, shop, learn, worship, visit and, of course, be a Rotarian.
